Vidia is a important character on the Disney Fairies franchise, being the main antagonist of Disney's 2008 fantasy film Tinker Bell, a minor character in Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, and a supporting character in the following sequels.

She has the ability to fly at super speeds, and can create small whirlwinds and such. She was also mean, nasty, cruel, greedy, cunning, selfish, spiteful, villainous, and manipulative, so she takes pleasure in bullying her fellow fairies.

She has recently began to rethink her wicked ways and has become friends with her former victims, even risking her life for them. She still remains sarcastic and temperamental as she always was, and although she can be mean, uncaring, and vindictive, Vidia has a soft spot, as well.

She was voiced by Pamela Adlon.

She is an arrogant bully who always makes fun of the other fairies for their talents.
When it was revealed that Tinker Bell had gained the tinkering talent, Vidia made a point of lowering her self-esteem by making fun of the tinkerers.
Planning to sabotage Tinker Bell, she suggested that she capture thistles to prove her worth, only to sabotage her capture and have the thistles destroy Pixie Hollow's preparations to go to the mainland.
Even when Tinker Bell manages to fix everything, Vidia still tries to destroy everyone's trust in her by placing the blame on Tinker Bell when it was actually her fault in the first place.
During her heated argument with Tinker Bell, Vidia, in a moment of anger, says that she should have told her to capture the hawk instead of the thistles, thus exposing her plans in front of the entire Hollow.

Why She Doesn't Pass The Baseline?

For what is shown, she didn't intended anyone to get hurt by the destruction caused by the thistles, and no one was hurt anyway. All of her other crimes amount to generic bullying, meaning she never goes beyond the baseline.
Even if she wanted someone to be hurt by the damage caused by the thistles, she would still fail the Heinous Standard towards Captain Hook, who, being just a human, tried to kill more people; and even towards Zarina, who stole the blue magic dust from Pixie Hollow.
There are times when she is not taken seriously and ends up being the butt of jokes.
She redeems herself in the third film, becoming friends with Tinker and the other fairies and subverting almost all her corrupting qualities until the point of became Near Pure Good.
